Time Capsule also to be used for Music Library possible?

Time Capsule also to be used for Music Library possible?

I currently have the following setup:
Master PC (soon Mac) with a lot of very structured (detailed tags) music
with high quality album art, far over 100Gb
NAS (Lacie) drive with a 1:1 copy of the Music
Sonos wireless system with multiple zones through the house sourced from
the NAS (Lacie) drive
Multiple Mac's from the kids
Time Capsule installed today backing up all Mac's
All works great.
However, with the arrival of the Time Capsule with 3TB I was wondering why
not getting rid of the NAS (Lacie) and put the copy of the Music on the
Time Capsule.
I could of course just try this out but I am a bit scared to break
something which currently works fine. My concerns / questions are:
I read that it is not recommended to use the Time Capsule for both NAS
purposes as well as Time Machine backup purposes. I can't figure out why
other than that in principle it is stupid to store stuff on a device which
is meant for backup purposes. Any ideas?
I read that the HD in the Time Capsule is energy efficient and is not
always one, does this mean that the Time Capsule will also not
continuously be recognized in its "role as NAS" by my Sonos system?
In short, given the above, would you go for my intended setup or not? Any
input appreciated.
